Jan Gijsbertus de Boer is the visionary leader and the Chairman of the Board of DN AGRAR, that brings over two decades of extensive agri-business expertise to the company. A graduate of the Higher Institute of Agriculture in Groningen and the founder of DN AGRAR, his strategic vision has been pivotal in transforming the Romanian agricultural landscape.
In 2008 he arrived in Romania after managing farms in the Netherlands and Germany, and he successfully used his extensive experience, to develop a thriving agricultural enterprise, especially in dairy sector. His tactical support has been pivotal to the company’s market development. Under his guidance, DN AGRAR continues its growth trajectory, plays an important role and brings substantial contributions to the development of Romanian agriculture.

Peter de Boer, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DN AGRAR (starting June 1st, 2025), graduated from the Faculty of Law and Business Administration at Leiden University, the Netherlands, and complemented his studies by specializing in financial evaluation at the CFI Corporate Financial Institute.
Since joining DN AGRAR in 2019, Peter has played a key role as the Strategic and Investor Relations Director within the company. His attributions have been pivotal in the company’s development and growth strategy, demonstrating his strong aptitude for driving the company’s strategic direction and fostering strong investor relationships. He is responsible for DN AGRAR’s listing on Capital Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2022, leading DN AGRAR’s transformation into the leader in cow milk production in Romania and a significant force in the European dairy sector.
Furthermore, Peter’s role is instrumental in cultivating and maintaining the company’s transparency, consistency, and effective communication with investors, strategically ensuring DN AGRAR’s competitiveness in both Romanian and European markets, a journey he described as “building a bridge between international perspectives and local opportunities”.
