Projects

Our Projects

Since 2008, right from the establishment of DN AGRAR in Romania, the company has experienced an accelerated process of consolidation and expansion, totaling investments of over 100 million euros.

Since the company’s listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2022, we have tripled DN AGRAR’s business.

Through our growth strategy, supported by operational efficiency and the expansion of our portfolio with a new farm (the Straja project), we aim to double our business by the end of 2027.

DN AGRAR manages a diversified portfolio of businesses, which includes:

Milk production
& young cattle breeding

Through five specialized farms: Apold,
Cut, Lacto Agrar, Straja, and Prodlact (young cattle breeding).

Crop production

Managing over 7,000 hectares of land in the counties of Alba, Sibiu, and Hunedoara, with the objective of reaching 10,000 hectares through the acquisition of new farms.

Logistics

Through DN AGRAR Logistics, a company that owns a modern fleet of vehicles and specializes in logistics and freight, cereal, and cow’s milk transport services.

Agricultural services

Through DN AGRAR Service, which ensures the provision of quality agricultural services for the establishment of cereal crops for the companies within the DN AGRAR Group.

Compost production

DN AGRAR practices circular agriculture and already operates a composting unit, planning the expansion of these composting installations to the other farms within the Group.

Through these projects, DN AGRAR demonstrates its commitment to growth, sustainability, and innovation in the Romanian and European agricultural sector.

Partnership for a biomethane production project

DN AGRAR and BSOG Energy, an energy company focused on developing biomethane production plants across Romania owned by Black Sea Oil & Gas, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement for a biomethane production facility in Romania, with a total capacity between 15 to 20 MW.

Compost Factory

Through the compost factory project, DN AGRAR manages efficiently the manure and increases soil fertility, actively contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative demonstrates DN AGRAR’s commitment to the principles of circular agriculture, as a promoter of it.

The Straja Project

One of the projects started in 2023 is the Straja Project, namely the construction of a new farm with a total capacity of 5.000 animals, meaning 4.000 dairy cows and 1.000 young cattle, which will have 2 milking rotors and will be built on a total area of 10 hectares.
