All the dairy farms within DN AGRAR are engaged in activities related to the exploitation of agricultural land, aiming to ensure part of the feed base for the animals that each farm helds.
In the field of cereal cultivation, companies within DN AGRAR group work on over 7,000 hectares of land, located in Alba, Sibiu, and Hunedoara counties (both leased and owned land).
The crops obtained are used both to ensure the feed base for DN AGRAR’s dairy farms (silage corn, alfalfa, silage triticale, grass, wheat straw) and for the lease payment for those tenants who opt for cereals.
DN AGRAR implements modern soil conservation technology, like minimum-till and no-till technologies, which provide both environmental and economic benefits.
