  • Growing Cycle & Crop Care: Manage and optimize the complete hydroponic lettuce growing cycle; monitor crop development and make timely growing decisions.

  • Environmental & Resource Control:

    • Manage climate settings (temperature, humidity, ventilation, lighting).

    • Oversee plant nutrition, fertilizers, fertigation, irrigation, and water management.

  • Crop Health: Monitor plant health, detect diseases/pests, and implement crop-protection measures.

  • Data Analysis & Systems: Interpret greenhouse, climate, crop, and production data to translate metrics into practical operational actions.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate a small team of supporting greenhouse staff; maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and operational discipline.

  • Innovation & Expansion: Work alongside management and external specialists to implement, optimize, and scale new greenhouse technologies over the coming six months and support future operational expansion.

Requirements / Required Education

  • Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written) is required to collaborate with international specialists and suppliers.

  • Experience & Knowledge:

    • Experience in greenhouse cultivation, horticulture, or a comparable intensive growing environment.

    • Solid understanding of plant growth, crop development, greenhouse climate management, and fertigation/plant nutrition.
