The entire fleet of equipment and vehicles is monitored with advanced GPS Agro-monitoring systems and the data are centralized and analyzed within customized software programs for agricultural activities. This helps with the efficient planning and management of agricultural operations, while ensuring better usage of resources and a reduction in production costs.
The staff consists of experts in the field, who ensure excellent quality agricultural work. They have the necessary knowledge to optimize production and obtain high yields from cereal crops, while ensuring that all operations are carried out responsibly and sustainably.
Starting from 2022, we have made significant investments in the purchase of a special, high-capacity machine, with which we apply a large part of our semi-liquid organic fertilizers by incorporating the manure directly into the soil, thus greatly reducing the risk of losing useful nutrients from the manure through leaching or evaporation.
Also, since 2022 as well, DN AGRAR has started applying a differentiated herbicide technology to the corn crop, so by using drones we were able to identify, in the plot, the areas where there are weeds. We applied herbicides only in those areas, using a fully automatic process. In this way, we have decreased the quantity of herbicides used. At the same time, by using a large number of crops (maize, wheat, soya, barley, sunflower, triticale, alfalfa), we ensure a suitable rotation to increase soil qualities and reduce disease, weed and pest pressure as much as possible.
