DN AGRAR’s operations extend beyond milk production, and include cereal cultivation, a vital component of our circular economy model. A major benefit of this integrated approach is that we produce our own food for the animals within DN AGRAR dairy farms, that provides significant advantage in terms of self-sufficiency.

All the dairy farms within DN AGRAR are engaged in activities related to the exploitation of agricultural land, aiming to ensure part of the feed base for the animals that each farm helds.

In the field of cereal cultivation, companies within DN AGRAR group work on over 7,000 hectares of land, located in Alba, Sibiu, and Hunedoara counties (both leased and owned land). Our objective is to reach a cultivated area of 10,000 hectares through the acquisition of other crop-producing farms.

The crops obtained are used both to ensure the feed base for DN AGRAR’s dairy farms (silage corn, alfalfa, silage triticale, grass, wheat straw) and for the lease payment for those tenants who opt for cereals.

DN AGRAR implements modern soil conservation technology, like minimum-till and no-till technologies, which provide both environmental and economic benefits.
