DN AGRAR advances strategic execution with new compost facility and Main Market upgrade decision

✅ DN AGRAR announces the start of the operations at the second automated manure composting facility, located at the Lacto Agrar farm.

✅The EUR 1.7 million investment doubles the Group’s compost production capacity, from 7,000 to approximately 14,000 tonnes per year, through the valorisation of more than 40,000 tonnes of manure annually.

✅ The facility is equipped with a sorting line and packaging unit, enabling DN AGRAR to commercialize compost in 5- to 40-liter bags as well as big bags, supporting in time a dual-market strategy with access to both B2B and B2C customers. By 2030, the company is planning a significant expansion, targeting an annual compost production capacity of 40,000 tons.

Peter de Boer, CEO & Board Member DN AGRAR Group:

“The completion of our second composting facility marks a concrete expansion of operational capacity and the development of a new value stream complementary to our core dairy business.

This milestone represents a further step in the execution of the Group’s 2025 - 2030 Development Strategy, which focuses on the expansion of existing business lines, diversification of revenue streams, sustainable growth, digitalization and cost optimization, as well as value creation for shareholders.

Against the backdrop of the progress achieved in 2025 across our strategic projects, the increasing scale of our operations and the plans for 2026, DN AGRAR has taken the decision to pursue the upgrade to the Main Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange in the first half of 2027.”

✅ DN AGRAR has also applied for Ecocert organic certification, which is now expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026, following a longer-than-anticipated process. In parallel, DN AGRAR initiated the organic certification process under EU standards and is developing the sales channel to scale this business line.

✅ Also, the company will obtain carbon credits for both facilities. The company expects to yield 16,000 carbon credits annually, for each facility, for an initial period of five years. This term is eligible for two consecutive renewals, extending the total credits reception period to 15 years. This initiative reinforces DN AGRAR’s sustainability roadmap while further diversifying the Group’s revenue streams.
