DN AGRAR
delivers record performance in
H1 2025 and sets course for growth and profitability

  Turnover increased by 22% and
Net Profit by 80%

Key indicators for the first half of 2025:

✅DN AGRAR has ended the first half of 2025 with a turnover of RON 101 million, an increase of 22% compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by an increase by 6% in the volume of milk delivered, and a higher average selling milk price.

✅ Net Profit reached RON 27 million, reflecting a 80% increase, supported by operational efficiency and favorable market conditions.

✅ EBITDA increased to 42%, reaching approximately RON 49 million.

🐄 Operationally, the results recorded in the first semester were supported by herd expansion, with over 16,000 cattle (+11% year-on-year), and milk deliveries of 34 million litters in H1 2025.

🌱 On the agricultural side, climate conditions have been unfavorable, leading to lower crop production at lower quality. However, at the group level, the financial impact of this has been partially offset by lower prices for cereals bought from the market compared to 2024 levels and internal efficiencies.

Peter de Boer

CEO & BoD Member
DN AGRAR Group:

"Marked by both achievements and challenges, the first half of 2025 showcased strong progress across operations, financials, and strategy.

We published our 2025–2030 Development Strategy, strengthened our leadership, and delivered the best semester in our history, reaching a 49% EBITDA margin despite external pressures.

We continued to deliver on our commitments, investing RON 32 million in advancing key projects. Renewable energy capacity grew with solar installations at Apold, Cut, and Lacto Agrar farms.

The development of the Straja farm accelerated ahead of schedule, expected to reach 1,800 animals by the end of August. The second compost factory at Lacto Agrar is advancing toward year-end commissioning and the certification for organic fertilizer is estimated in September. Our biomethane partnership with BSOG Energy reached a new stage with land secured and permitting in progress.

Each step brings us closer to our vision of sustainable, circular farming that creates long-term value.”

Outlook for H2 2025

➡️ DN AGRAR maintains a positive outlook for the second half of 2025, expecting continued growth despite significant challenges, primarily from unfavorable climate conditions.
➡️ On the pricing side, the market environment remains favorable and DN AGRAR anticipates for Q3 an average milk price higher than in the same quarter of 2024. For Q4, milk prices are projected to remain stable and above last year’s levels.
➡️ DN AGRAR will publish a revised budget on September 9th, 2025, considering the developments in the first semester of this year and all the factors potentially impacting the results in the second part of the year across all business lines - milk production, crop production, and compost.

Operational Highlights:
➡️ Dairy sector: the milk volumes are expected to remain at elevated levels in both Q3 and Q4, due to herd expansion and productivity gains, supporting further revenue growth. Results from July confirm this trajectory, with a 20% increase in milk deliveries compared to July 2024. DN AGRAR is on track to meet its annual target of at least 70 million liters of milk, a 10% increase over 2024.
➡️ Agriculture sector: in certain areas, harvests were reduced to almost half of the tons per hectare compared to last year. This will have an impact on DN AGRAR's financial performance.
➡️ Business diversification: DN AGRAR's diversified operations is a
combination of dairy, crop production, and compost sales, that provides a more balanced revenue structure, reducing exposure to external shocks in any single area.

Financial Highlights:
➡️ Margins: regardless of the relatively favorable market prices for the cereals and rapeseed, a decrease of the in-house crop production increases external purchases, leading to higher overall feed costs; this means that the overall effect in the Q3 will still be slightly negative for margins.

➡️ Drought impact: the impact of the drought will become even more visible in Q4 2025 as production costs for cereals are recalculated.

➡️ Q4 2025 Growth: despite these challenges, DN AGRAR continues to expect growth in Q4 2025, versus similar period in 2024, although at a slower pace than in the first half of this year.
