Key indicators for the first quarter of 2025:

DN AGRAR has ended the first quarter of 2025 with a turnover of RON 51 million, an increase of approximately 27% compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by an increase in both the volume of milk delivered and the selling price of milk.

Net Profit reached RON 14 million, reflecting a 78% increase, with a strong net profit margin of 28%, supported by operational efficiency and favorable market conditions.
β
EBITDA increased to 44%, reaching approximately RON 26 million.
π Operationally, DN AGRAR delivered approximately 17 million liters of milk, reflecting a 7% increase in the quantity of milk delivered. This performance was supported by herd expansion, with over 16,000 head of cattle, an 11% increase compared to the same period last year.
π± In the agriculture sector, starting with the 2024–2025 agricultural campaign, DN AGRAR extended the application of minimum-till technology to spring crops (corn, triticale, alfalfa, wheat, barley), with the majority of the harvest used internally for animal feed.

Key strategic projects 2025 - 2030:

CUT 2 Farm - A new 5,000-head cattle facility with a projected daily milk output of 150,000 liters. It will include a vertical farm producing 25% of the feed onsite. Construction is set to begin in 2026, with full operations by 2029.

Composting facilities - Five composting units will be developed alongside existing operations, with expected annual output exceeding 40,000 tons of organic fertilizer by end of 2030.

Biomethane plant - Developed in collaboration with Black Sea Oil & Gas, the project is expected to generate annual revenues of EUR 3.5 - 4 million starting in 2027 and contribute to a 90% reduction in carbon emissions.

Wheatgrass vertical farms - Four vertical systems will generate over 100 tons of wheatgrass per day, potentially offsetting 25% of current feed input, improving cost-efficiency and sustainability..

Projects under advanced analysis, with the investment decision expected in 2027:

π Straja 2 Farm - Designed for 5,000 dairy cows and daily production of 150,000 liters of milk. It will incorporate an advanced research & development center and vertical farming technologies, with completion scheduled for 2030.
π Greenhouse vegetable cultivation - A strategic initiative to broaden DN AGRAR’s revenue mix beyond dairy, tapping into the growing demand for traceable, high-quality produce.
π Portfolio diversification - Through research initiatives in partnership with academic institutions, we're focused on maximizing the commodity value. This includes strategies like selling extracted fat and protein from milk, producing milk powder, or dehydrating milk to reduce transportation costs and boost margins.
Project financing will be secured through a blend of bank loans, EU funding programs, capital increase, and internal capital.

DN AGRAR was awarded alongside Black Sea Oil & Gas at the ENERGY CEO FORUM & AWARDS event, organized by The Diplomat Bucharest. The companies received the Innovation in Energy Award for their joint project to build the largest biomethane production facility in Romania.

DN AGRAR is the largest integrated zootechnical farm in Romania, with cow milk production and vegetable production. The Group works over 7,000 hectares of owned and leased land and owns over 16,000 cattle, dairy cows and young cattle.
