Strategic Project Evolution

Production of cream and skimmed milk

โ˜‘๏ธ DN AGRAR is strengthening its market position by advancing its new milk processing facility, marking a strategic transition from a raw material producer to a supplier of high-value-added, specialized dairy products.

โ˜‘๏ธ Producing dairy ingredients with significantly lower logistics costs compared to raw milk, will drive operational efficiency and unlock new opportunities, enabling the company to achieve strategic diversification across both market segments and customer portfolios.

โ˜‘๏ธ The EUR 3.5 million investment will be financed through a credit facility and marks the transition toward vertical integration, serving as a catalyst for DN AGRAR's expansion across regional markets.

  • Production capacity: 150,000 liters/day.
  • Extra storage capacity of 300.000 liters.
  • Production of cream, skimmed milk, SMC and Kosher milkโ€‹.
  • Possibility to produce milk with specific fat request for food processors 0.5-4%โ€‹.
  • โ€‹Possibility to increase DMC from 9% to 36%, transportation efficiency from 4 trucks to 1 truckโ€‹.
  • โ€‹Possibility to sell full trucks of the specific products, as well to sell 1.000 liters packaging for smaller food producersโ€‹.

Timeline:

Vertical farming:

Wheatgrass Production

๐ŸŒฑ By implementing vertical farming for wheatgrass production, DN AGRAR achieves full control and predictability of its supply chain. This guarantees a high-quality, protein-rich diet for the livestock year-round, effectively eliminating dependence on seasonality or the volatility of weather conditions.

๐ŸŒฑ DN AGRAR is set to start the construction on its new production facility in the first half of 2026. The plant's production capacity is estimated at a daily output of 40 tons of wheatgrass.

  • Production output: 40 tons of feed per day, with constant protein levels, that will replace 30% or more of the current feedstock for CUT 1 farm.
  • Investment: Approximately EUR 3 million for the first facility, located at CUT 1 farm warehouse.

Timeline:

  • The design phase has been successfully finalized.

  • Currently, expansion works are in progress at the CUT 1 farm, to facilitate the installation of the first vertical farming unit.

  • As seen in the images below, works are underway to develop an alternative warehouse storage. In the next step, the existing warehouse adjacent to the silos of CUT 1 farm will be expanded, to accommodate our first vertical farming unit.

  • After a full-year of rigorous testing and system optimization cycle, the vertical farming technology will be scaled across all our farms.
  • May - June 2026: GMS Approval is scheduled.
  • H1 2026: Construction of the first farm is projected to commence.

  • H2 2026: Production is estimated to begin.
