The first edition of the Investor’s Day at DN AGRAR took place on June 12, 2023 and attracted approximately 60 participants, among the guests there were reliable partners of DN Agrar: Lactalis Romania, ING Bank and BRK Group.

During the first part of the event, after receiving the guests, the management team of DN Agrar presented the company’s vision, business model, the results achieved, as well as the company’s future strategy – robots in the Cut and Lacto Agrar farms, the solar panels project, the new compost factory and the Straja project. The event ended with a Q&A session.

The first stop was at the Apold farm, where those present had the opportunity to see the 2 milking parlors of the farm, respectively the new milking parlor and the modernized milking parlor, the approximately 600 igloos, the farm’s stables, the 3 tanks milk, with a total capacity of approximately 100,000 liters, also were presented the fleet of machinery and equipment used for the agricultural sector.
The 2nd stop was at the Cut farm, where those present had the opportunity to see the company’s 10 silos, which store over 10,000 tons of cereals, the rotary milking parlor with 60 stations, the milk cooling station, with the help of this station, the temperature of the milk is reduced from 37̊C to 4̊C, and then loaded directly into the trucks and transported to the processors, they saw the robots recently installed in the milking parlor, more precisely the automatic udder disinfection sprayer, specially designed for rotary milking parlors.
Those present also visited the DN Agrar laboratory, where the quality of the cereals is determined, based on the analyzes performed with specific devices, among others being measured the humidity of the cereals, especially gluten and wheat protein, even the percentage of maize mycosis.
They were also presented with the electronic grain scale, that has a capacity of up to 80 tonnes, connected automatically to a computer software, for cereal stocks tracking and the grains movements, with the help of which trucks loaded with cereals are weighed, both at the entrance and at the exit, in order to limit errors.
DN Agrar farms produce high-quality milk, are equipped with high-performance equipment and well-trained staff, while ensuring the well-being of the animals, which are treated very well, are healthy, have permanent access to comfortable conditions and are permanently supervised by our veterinarians.
DN Agrar also constantly invests in the agricultural sector, using high-performance tractors and machinery, new technologies (the use of drones for the fertilization of plots; the use of equipment for the effective incorporation of manure on agricultural plots), having a constant concern for grain production of the highest quality.
Mr. Horga Vlad as Regional Milk Collection Manager of Lactalis Romania, spoke to the audience about the good collaboration and relationship with DN Agrar, about the current local and European milk market, about the quality of milk from DN Agrar, and made predictions about the Romanian milk market for the rest of the year 2023.
Mr. Marius Gavrea as Business Strategy Lead-Agri Mid Corporate Banking of ING Romania, spoke to the audience about the long and close collaboration with DN Agrar, starting with 2016, when ING Romania started financing companies in the agriculture sector, about DN Agrar’s business model and the company’s success in this sector, about the perspectives of the Romanian and European milk market, presented the evolution of the production and deliveries of raw milk to factories, in Romania, spoke about the problems faced by large companies in this sector, in terms of granting subsidies, which is not realized according to current figures, as well as about the potential development of the livestock sector, especially the potential of DN Agrar on the Romanian agribusiness market.
Mr. Răzvan Raț as Deputy General Manager of BRK Financial Group, spoke to the audience about the partnership with DN Agrar, about the evolution of the company on the capital market, as well as about the start of DN Agrar’s Market maker program.
