DN AGRAR's announced on May 26th, 2025, its Development Strategy - a medium-term plan, built around five strategic pillars:
- Expansion of existing business lines
- Diversification of revenue streams
- Sustainable growth
- Digitalization and cost optimization
- Value creation for shareholders

"After 17 years of visionary leadership, my father, Jan de Boer,
is stepping down from his role as Chief Executive Officer.
I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to him, not only as a son but as a member of a company and community that has been shaped by his passion, integrity, transparency, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
His leadership built the foundation on which we continue to grow,

and his legacy will remain a guiding force for all of us.
It is both a great honor and a profound responsibility for me to step into the role of CEO. I have had the privilege of learning from my father and from so many of our talented team members over the years. I do not take this opportunity lightly. I am committed to continuing our legacy of innovation, accountability, and long-term value creation for our shareholders, our employees, and our customers.
As I take on this role for the first time, I’m especially proud of the team we’ve assembled to help lead the company into the future. Our new management team is gender balanced—50/50. While this was not a target or a deliberate goal during the selection process, I believe it reflects the strength of our talent across the board. I am proud that our leadership naturally reflects the diversity and merit that define our company’s culture.
As we look ahead, we will remain true to our core values while also embracing the future with fresh energy, a strong strategic vision, and a commitment to sustainable growth.
We are launching the 2025–2030 Strategy at a time when DN AGRAR has both the scale and the experience to take a significant leap forward. Since our 2022 listing, we have tripled in size, strengthened our operational base, and demonstrated that we can execute with consistency and discipline. The momentum is real, and the timing is right to build the next layer of growth.
The new strategy is more than an expansion plan, and builds on our solid core, milk production, which remains central to our growth model, while opening entirely new business lines. It marks a shift toward building integrated industrial clusters that combine dairy farming with vertical farming, composting, greenhouse cultivation, and renewable energy production.
Through the large-scale projects that we plan, we aim to create a self-sustaining agri-food ecosystem that is scalable, export-ready, and aligned with the EU’s green transition goals. All these will define the next decade of growth and position DN AGRAR to more than double the EBITDA by 2030."

DN AGRAR is the largest integrated zootechnical farm in Romania, with cow milk production and vegetable production. The Group works over 7,000 hectares of owned and leased land and owns over 16,000 cattle, dairy cows and young cattle. The company operates in the center of Transylvania, in Alba, Sibiu and Hunedoara counties.
DN AGRAR was founded in 2008 by Jan Gijsbertus de Boer and has been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, on the AeRO market, since February 2022. The shares were included in the BETAeRO index of the most traded companies in the MULTILATERAL TRADING SYSTEM - SMT, starting September 19th, 2022, and were included in the MSCI Frontier Small Cap and MSCI Romania Small Cap indices on March 1st, 2024.
